The Caernarvon is one of the Tier VIII heavy tanks in the game. Based on the real British Army developmental tank from 1952, it is named after the Welsh town of Caernarfon. An alternate version is the Caernarvon Action X tank.
The FV4004 Conway is one of the Tier IX tank destroyers in the game. This is based on the real British Army prototype attempt to improve upon the Centurion tank, and was named after the Welsh town of Conwy.
The Excalibur is one of the Tier VI tank destroyers in the game. The tank is based on the real 1960s British Army tank that never entered production. The name “Excalibur” comes from the mythical sword of the legendary King of Britain, Arthur. “Excalibur” originates from the Welsh Caledfwlch, a compound of caled (“hard”) and bwlch (“cleft”), with one of the sword’s earliest appearances being in the 11th-12th century Welsh tale Culhwch ac Olwen.
The national flag of Wales can be obtained and placed onto tanks in some versions of the game.
