Welsh mythical figure Arianrhod is an Empress Persona in Persona 2: Innocent Sin.
Although she appears in the Welsh Mabinogion tales, she is also interpreted in numerous other ways. Her name comes the Welsh words arian meaning “silver”, and rhod meaning “wheel” or “circle”. As such, she is depicted as a goddess, where her “silver wheel” represents the moon and the cycle of rebirth.
Reflecting this, a weapon she can produce for Yukino in Persona 2: Innocent Sin is called Silver Wheel.
Her quote is as follows:
I am Arianrhod, the silver wheel. One who conquers all evil with mine rainbow… I shall be with thee in thine destiny!
Cŵn Annwn, the spectral hounds of Annwn, the Welsh Otherworld, appear as demons under the name Cwn Annwn, without the circumflex (ˆ). Despite the singular form being Ci Annwn, each hound is known by the plural form.
