One of the playable characters in Not a Hero is a Welsh woman named Samantha. She has a strong Welsh accent, exclaiming stereotypical Welsh phrases throughout the game.

When choosing to play as Samantha from the character selection screen, she will say a random phrase, one of which is: “Wales? Yes, it’s a real place!”

This screen also lists attributes for each character, and one for Samantha simply reads: “Welsh”.

In the beginning of a level in Bredrin Park, she references the Welsh city of Swansea, saying: “Bredrin Park? It’s not Swansea.”

Some of Samantha’s other stereotypical phrases include: “Hey, boyo”, “Valley girls last longer”, “Let’s tidy up”, and “Mint”.
