Knights of the Round (or Knights of Round) is the most powerful summon materia that can be acquired in Final Fantasy VII.
It is located in a cave on Round Island at the northeast of the map, and can only be reached by traversing there with a gold chocobo. Alternatively, it is accessible through the Master Summon materia obtained after giving the traveller in Kalm the Earth Harp, which is dropped after defeating Emerald Weapon.
Based on the Knights of the Round Table from Arthurian legend, thirteen knights will perform Ultimate End, attacking the enemy one after the other when the materia is used in battle.
It isn’t mentioned within the game, but the Final Fantasy VII Ultimania Omega guide book confirms that the final knight that appears is Arthur and he attacks the enemy with the holy sword Excalibur.
A figure of Arthur from Final Fantasy VII was released in 2001 as part of the Final Fantasy Creatures series, while the full group of the Knights of the Round was released as a figure in the 2006 Master Creatures line.
