Boudica is a Celtic military leader in Civilization III.
In ancient Britain, Boudica or Boudicca (known in Welsh as Buddug) was the queen of the Celtic Iceni tribe and led a failed revolt against the Roman Empire after destroying several Roman-occupied cities and armies.
Other Celtic military leaders in Civilization III include: Cunobelinus (Cynfelyn in Welsh), a first-century king of the Catuvellauni Britons; and Caratacus (Caradog in Welsh), a son of Cunobelinus whom succeeded his title and fought the Romans.
The scientific great leaders of the game include: Maredudd ab Owain, a Welsh king of the 10th century; Gruffydd ap Llywelyn, the 11th-century King of Wales and the only Welsh king that was able to unite all of Wales for a period of time; and Rhodri Mawr, a 9th-century Welsh king.
The Celtic city list in Civilization III‘s The Middle Ages scenario features various places of Wales, including: Dyfed and Gwynedd.
