In Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls, there are some Welsh-inspired weapons.
Charlotte’s Legend of Arthur tome references the King Arthur of Welsh legend, with red dragons decorating the cover of the book.
Alucard’s Blazing Blade references the mythical Welsh sword Dyrnwyn. Its in-game description directly mentions its origins as one of the Thirteen Treasures of the Island of Britain from Welsh myth. The original Welsh name Dyrnwyn means White Hilt, and the sword had the ability to burst into flames if a righteous person wielded it. The sword was owned by Brittonic king Rhydderch Hael – or Rhydderch the Generous – so named for his willingness in allowing others to wield the sword, despite them rejecting it due to its magical properties.
