It may be one of the worst-kept secrets in gaming over the last couple of years, but Ubisoft has today officially acknowledged the existence of its long-awaited remaster of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.
Under the adjusted title of Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced, Ubisoft has teased artwork for the updated version of Welsh pirate Edward Kenway’s adventure set during the Golden Age of Piracy.
Nothing else has been shared for this refreshed edition of Black Flag, including which platforms it will be available for, but it is possible it could release very soon.
In addition to this tease, Ubisoft announced other updates for the Assassin’s Creed franchise, including a 60 frames-per-second patch for Assassin’s Creed: Unity, plans for multiplayer and co-op games, and news that a Netflix live action series is in the works.
