The 3D adventure game My Little Puppy will be barking onto Nintendo Switch on 29th May.
Announced in today’s Indie World Showcase, this emotional journey from South Korean developer Dreamotion sees players taking the reins of a Welsh Corgi named Bong-gu. After he catches a whiff of his owner’s scent in the afterlife, Bong-gu sets off on a quest to find the human that saved him from abandonment in the real world, tackling an assortment of stages encompassing different genres, including action, racing, and adventure, and helping other people and dogs along the way.
The Nintendo Switch version will allow players to dress Bong-gu up in silly and charming costumes.
Inspired by the real-life events of game director Junyoung Lee after adopting an ageing Welsh Corgi, My Little Puppy is described as “a story for all of us”, and for those hoping to reunite with a loved one again someday.
My Little Puppy is available now on Steam, and is also due to release on PlayStation 5. A physical edition for Nintendo Switch will be launching in June.
Update: Dreamotion has confirmed that the PlayStation 5 version will also release on 29th May.
