I recently had the great pleasure of chatting to Gina Markey – also known by her online and developer name Devi Serene – about her Welsh inspired indie role-playing game Toward Dawn.
Gina spoke about her favourite games and her developer background, and detailed the Welsh origins behind Toward Dawn, as well as the battle system, characters, and much more, including her thoughts on Welsh representation in games and the sort of Welsh games she’d like to see in the future.
This was an incredibly enjoyable and insightful discussion that really showcased just how much work has gone into the creation of this game.
