The Wales in Games Discord server is now open! Click here to join and chat with fellow Welsh and Welsh-curious video game enthusiasts!
You don’t need to be Welsh or speak Welsh in order to join; simply having an interest in Wales and video games is enough! There are unique roles that you can choose from to display your Welsh connections, whether you’re born and bred in Wales, or have come to settle in Wales from another country. Indicate if you’re learning to speak Welsh or are fluent in the language already. Maybe you’re not Welsh at all, but just curious about the many Welsh references in video games and want to discuss and learn more.
There are channels for users to practice speaking Welsh, discuss Welsh representation in video games, chat about games in general, and even show off your indie game or artwork. Perhaps you’re a game developer or voice actor from Wales, or working on a Welsh inspired game that you want to share with others – so assign yourself those developer and actor titles! Everyone is welcome!
Monthly supporters of the Wales in Games Patreon and Ko-fi pages will receive unique titles in the Discord server, and members will also find an exclusive channel where I can share work-in-progress updates and early access to videos that I create.
Thank you to everyone that has joined so far, and I hope to see more of you there soon!
Diolch o galon!
